An Artist In The Making
Ever since I could remember I was putting pencil to paper. Drawing, writing, coloring. When asked about what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said I wanted to be an artist. So the pursuit of becoming an artist began before I even finished high school, taking classes at the Chesapeake Arts Center to enhance my portraiture skills and enrolling at the community college to get a head start on my degree. I wasn’t too far along in college when I was drawn to the path of becoming a graphic designer. I still like to draw by hand, but I fell in love with all the possibilities that came with print making and digital illustration. The amazing effect of simple lines, shapes and colors implying real life objects without including every detail. The transformation of an abstract idea into a visual representation that can be replicated over and over again.
I'm a fan of Pop Art, Impressionism and Art Nouveau [Alfons Mucha is my absolute fave]. I enjoy drinking wine with my friends, snuggling with my two cats, Jack and Colby, and spending time with my significant other.
My products are unique, fun and sometimes downright wackadoo, just like me. I hope that they encourage and inspire you to express YOUR own voice and creativity.
