Laugh Labs Design: About Us and Where It All Began
"If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants!". Once said by Isaac Newton, this is the conerstone for the advancement of the STEM field! Hello to all STEM enthusiasts worldwide! My name is Haiden Murray, the founder of Laugh Labs Design! Laugh Labs Design is your preminent store for STEM clothing and resources from t-shirts to formula sheets. So, what does STEM actually mean? Well, STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics! What started as a spark became a hobby and an endeavour in everything I have done in my life; From air cadets to designing drones to ultimately pursuing mechanical engineering and business, I have left no stone unturned in my pursuit of STEM knowledge.
I would like to provide a bit of background on who I am! I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan from Canada with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2023! When I was 7 years old, I travelled to Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral, Florida where I had lunch with an astronaut and walked through the rocket gardens. From that day on my ultimate dream was born: to be both an astronaut and a business owner. Currently, I am a business owner and a Canadian Mechanical Engineer In Training.
The idea for this business started when I was in my fourth year of university. I realized that knowledge sharing was the most effective when people could communicate concepts at any level, are passionate about what they do, and bridge the gap between creativity and hard facts. I wanted to start a business where everyone of all ages and interest levels could wear clothing that is of very high quality and is relatable/funny to anyone who may read it.
