I'm Katie, an artist, former elementary art teacher and farm mama creating art from our little corner in Central Florida. After years of teaching art in the traditional classroom, I found myself wanting to get back to the part I love the most-making art and helping kids experience the joy of creating it themselves in a smaller setting. That's where Laughing Brood Farm Art Studio began. I create simple, whimsical art kits and projects inspired by what I love the most: nature, animals, flowers, the farm and a little bit of imagination. My goal is to make art feel approachable and fun not something you have to be "good" at to enjoy.

Many of the art kits are designed with children and families in mind giving children a chance to slow down, make something with their hands and proudly say "look what I made!"
In additional to these kits, I have also collaborated with my mom who is also an artist. Her various vintage original black line graphics created in the 90's are coming back as nostalgic, unique and beautifully drawn images that can be downloaded and printed as coloring sheets, coloring books or cards. Her images are designed for you to color or gift to someone else who can enjoy coloring them or just keep them in their black and white original format.
