My background is going to a local (New Jersey) contemporary art school for photography, but since graduating (in 2011), I haven fallen in love with painting. I am just truly beginning to find my aesthetic and have fallen in love with the creative process. Through soft lines and a color arrangement that resonates deep within me, my work reads as whimsical and feminine, although that it is not my intent. Like a poet who uses her words and rhythm to evoke an emotional response, I use color and shape – often undefined and somewhat amorphous – to elicit such responses.
