Laurie's Design LAB is an ever-growing project. An interest in vintage and historical clothing spanning multiple generations began with my grandmother, teaching me to appreciate fine fabrics and styles as a young girl. I then dedicated my life to increasing my knowledge and love of clothing through a storied career working on everything from repairing vintage couture in Manhattan boutiques to creating one-of-a-kind historically accurate Elizabethan court dress reproductions; from fun, flashy burlesque costuming, to classic, understated elegance.

We aim to make fabulous, fashionable vintage clothing accessible to anyone bold and fun enough to wear it. We are always searching for a beautiful new pattern, an arresting silhouette, a gorgeous fabric, or simply a piece that will become your new favorite.
