Hi! I'm Elizabeth. I started Layered Craft because I wanted to make crafting easy and fun.
I've always been a crafter, but I was never able to get the hang of cutting machines. So when I talked to other crafters, they all said the same thing: "You need a cutter." And then they'd talk about how much time and energy it took to learn how to use them and how much money you had to spend to get one.
I knew there had to be an easier way. So I started Layered Craft as a way of providing simple digital cut files for Cricut and Silhouette users—people who love crafting but don't want the hassle of learning how to use a cutter or spending tons of money on equipment just so they can enjoy fun and easy projects.
The name "Layered Craft" came from my love of 3D designs made from layers of paper and cardstock. The idea is that each piece adds depth and interest to your project, making it more than just an ordinary cutout shape or picture frame design!
The mission of Layered Craft is simple: create high quality digital files for crafters who want an easy and fun project to be proud of.
