My name is Anastasia and my story is a journey from one side of the world to the other. I was raised in Russia, in a city by the name of Saratov near the Volga River. The world of my childhood was a fantastic and mystical world filled with fields of bright red strawberries, crisp cool blue and green lakes, and bright evergreens. As seasons changed, so did the colors, just as vibrant, but different in hue and perhaps at a completely different end of the spectrum.
When I moved to the U.S. in my adulthood, I worked in various positions in the fashion industry, in particular, jewelry and clothing sales. The fashion industry mimics nature in a way- as the seasons change, so do the trends. I found this to be a great outlet for creativity. With great patience, I began learning the intricacies of wire wrapping, beading, soldering and more. The first few times I was frustrated, but then something clicked. I began making jewelry as gifts for my family and friends. Several of them asked me if I had considered selling my own pieces. It was then that I decided to try. Each piece in my shop tells a story of its own. A Ruby might be a memory of a rasberry I picked from my grandmother's bush on a lazy summer day. A dazzling blue topaz or aquamarine gem may bring me back to a moment in time where I lay in a grassy field and stare up at a bright blue sky. My deisgns are rich in color and quality and completely made by hand. I love high fashion and modern design, but I implement several techniques and my color combinations tend to be bold. I can custom design jewerly to accomodate any style or age. All of my jewelry is designed to make an impression and while each piece tells a story from my own life, my hope is that my clients relate to the piece their own story and share my world of color with others.
