Eclectic selection of handcrafted bags
I am often asked how I got to be crafty. The answer goes back to my teenage years and it is quite simple. I was never happy enough with what I found in the stores. Either I did not like the design, or the price, or both. And since I saw my Mom always had her hands on something new, creating and designing apparel for herself, I knew I could also create something unique, something I would enjoy to have.
Making bags has become my passion. There are endless possibilities in design, shapes or colors. Every material speaks to me differently. I enjoy thinking (and often dreaming!) about what's the best way to use it, and how to bring out its potential.
I do not purchase fabrics in bulk, and I do not create bags in bulk either. I make every bag one at a time, always in a different color, always in a different style. This is how I keep myself inspired.
All my bags are unique.
