Do you accept returns & exchanges?
Yes! The only rule is that items to be returned or exchanged must be on their way back withing 7 days of receipt and in the condition as sent, and they must be properly packaged.
What tube tester do you use?
Most of the time either a Hickok KS 15874-L2 or Triplett 3444A
Why don't you post vacuum tube test data?
Most of the time, no, because in isolation they don't give the buyer any useful information and would make it very difficult to post multiples of the same tube. There are, however, a few listings that do have test data.
I'm looking for a tube that will give me great detail and deep bass. Can you recommend one?
No honest tube dealer will ever promise particular sonics. There are too many details. It's your room, your speakers, your electronics, and your ears, and what works for one person might not work for another.
Why do want returned and exchanged items on their way back within 7 days of receipt
I really don't get a whole lot of returns, but over the last year, those returned within 7 days have come back in excellent condition, while those sent back after 7 days have been in non-saleable condition.
I want people to be happy, but getting tubes returned with burns, or cracked glass, or dead isn't a lot of fun.
Does the customer pay for shipping out and back on returnd and exchange items?
Yes.
Why don't you like statements such as "tests as new" or "tests new old stock?
See if you can find those terms in The Radiotron Designers Handbook or any RCA tube manual. I wrote a short paper about the subject.
