Even though there is a flaw in this ring, no one really notices unless I draw attention to it. It is a big piece of mother of pearl with a nice band and a great setting. The price was right and I am happy with it. Well packaged and it arrived in the blink of an eye. Thanks ladies!!

About

We can't resist shiny objects

We started our shop to indulge our own lust for vintage jewelry. It gave us an excuse (did we really need one?) to hit flea markets and estate sales and keep jewelry top-of-mind (like it wasn't already) every day. We're humbled by the wonderful response we've gotten from Etsy buyers and really enjoy the personal contact with people who love vintage as much as we do.

We decided that running the shop together was a way to give it the love it needs without making life crazy since we both have other work lives and endless interests. We share the buying. I tend to do the jewelry photos (Susan) and research the pieces. Laura does the bulk of the pricing and descriptions. If one of us has less time to devote in any given week, the other person picks up the slack.

Our tastes are similar but not identical, and we provide a good reality check for each other. The funniest thing that happens is when we both fall in love with the same piece and decide we can't possibly sell it. We actually take turns with it, each having "custody" of the piece for half the year. A little crazy but it works.

There are three things that we here at LemonCage love to do: discover vintage treasures, create unique art, and pass on special items of both kinds to happy customers.

We feel that when you purchase a stunning vintage item, you are not just buying a pretty object. You are acquiring a piece of history unlike any other and adding your own personal chapter to it!

For us, artwork and hand-crafted items are so much more than just decoration for your home. They also represent a unique connection between the artist and purchaser, and nothing makes us happier than when a cool customer takes a liking to something we have created from our imaginations!

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
If you encounter a problem with your purchase, please contact us so that we can resolve it. For returns, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your item and return the item within 14 days of the date you received it.

ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED OR DAMAGED
If you need to return an item because it is not as described or arrives damaged, we will issue you a full refund --- including your original postage cost and your postal cost for returning it --- when we receive the returned item.

CHANGED YOUR MIND/DON'T LIKE ITEM
If your reason for returning an item is that you have changed your mind on the purchase or decided you just don't like the item, we will refund your item purchase price but not the original shipping cost or your cost for returning it.
Payment
We accept PayPal and request that payment be made at the time of purchase. We also accept direct checkout.
Shipping
For domestic sales, we ship jewelry orders via United States Postal Service First Class mail. We offer a Priority Mail upgrade. If a specific delivery timeframe is critical to you, please contact us before you buy to see if we can meet your deadline.
If your item is a large paintings or collectible, we may offer a Parcel Post option to keep shipping costs as low as possible for you. We use delivery confirmation so that we can be sure you receive your item.

For countries we ship to outside the US we use First Class Mail International and add third-party insurance (at our expense) for higher cost items.

Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Please check your postal regulations so you don't get any unpleasant surprises! LemonCage is not responsible for late deliveries due to customs delays in the buyer's country.

If you're on the hunt for a particular vintage item, get in touch! We are always out there at estate sales, thrift shops, antique stores --- everywhere. We might run across your heart's desire and if we do, we can add it to the shop and mark it reserved for you.

In order to respond to any potential tax or legal obligations that may arise, I will retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for seven years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.

In addition to my own privacy policy, if you pay for your order with Paypal, your data will be protected by PayPal's privacy policy.
