Ecco 10 cose che probabilmente non sai di me:

Vediamo...

1) Sono cresciuto in un Kibbutz, una comunità collettiva molto piccola, che si basa sull'agricoltura, e ho persino ottenuto una patente di guida del trattore! ! (che spreco).
Situato nella splendida Valle del Giordano, proprio accanto al Mar di Galilea, è dove ho trascorso la maggior parte della mia infanzia, e molti fine settimana da allora.

2) Mi sono laureato presso il dipartimento di design di gioielli presso lo Shenkar College of Engineering & Design. La cosa più importante che ho imparato a scuola è che DIO È NEI DETTAGLI.

3) Per anni ho lavorato come visual merchandiser, designer di gioielli e argentiere per vari marchi, prima di rendermi conto che in realtà non stavo facendo quello che volevo veramente con la mia vita. Se solo avessi il coraggio...

4) E poi è arrivato Goa... L'inverno scorso sono andato per una lunga vacanza in una splendida spiaggia nel sud di Goa, in India. Da qualche parte c'era una discoteca all'aperto, circondata da una fitta giungla, chiamata Leopard Valley.
È lì che ho finalmente deciso che è il momento di seguire il mio sogno e di essere coraggioso ... Molto poco dopo ho iniziato la mia attività, ed eccomi qui =)

5) Trovo ispirazione nei luoghi in cui ho viaggiato in tutto il mondo, nelle diverse culture e persone che incontro lungo la strada. Adoro i colori, i tessuti e le trame, il vintage, i mercati e i mercatini delle pulci.
La favolosa spiaggia di Tel Aviv, proprio accanto al mio appartamento, è il mio posto preferito. Ci vado ogni volta che posso (tutto il tempo!), per ispirazione, aria fresca e ricaricarmi con un po 'di energia solare ...

6) Le creazioni di Leopard Valley sono una versione moderna di mantenere i disegni e le forme semplici, fresche, interessanti e divertenti allo stesso tempo. C'è anche sempre un piccolo tocco di vintage e tribale aggiunto a loro.

7) Come vegetariano ideologicamente mi sono posto l'obiettivo di non usare prodotti animali come pelle, piume e simili.
Essere rispettoso dell'ambiente è molto importante per me, e faccio ogni sforzo per utilizzare prodotti sostenibili, biologici, riciclati e naturali ogni volta che è possibile.

8) Non sono davvero un tipo di persona al computer; Non avrei mai creduto che avrei gestito il mio negozio online!

9) Tutto quello che vedete nel mio negozio è fatto a mano da me, e ogni pezzo è originale.
Faccio ogni sforzo per creare cose speciali che non troverai da nessun'altra parte e adoro creare oggetti unici nel loro genere.

10) Mi sento incredibilmente fortunato a poter lavorare da casa facendo ciò che amo, e adoro il pensiero dei miei prodotti che viaggiano in diverse case in tutto il mondo e iniziano la loro nuova vita lì.
Cerco di non mettere etichette su ciò che sono o su ciò che faccio, poiché è un'occupazione in continua evoluzione. So che creerò sempre e sono felice di condividere il mio lavoro qui su Etsy!

Here are 10 things you probably don't know about me:

Let's see...

1) I grew up in a Kibbutz, a very small collective community, which is based on agriculture, & even got a tractor driving license!! (what a waste).
Located in the stunning Jordan Valley, right next to the Sea of Galilee, is where I spent most of my childhood, & many weekends ever since.

2) I graduated from the jewelry design department in Shenkar College of Engineering & Design. The most important thing I learned in school is that GOD IS IN THE DETAILS.

3) For years I was working as a visual merchandiser, a jewelry designer & a silversmith for various brands, before realizing that I wasn't actually doing what I really wanted with my life. If I only had the courage…

4) And then came Goa...Last winter I went for a long vacation to a gorgeous beach in south Goa, India. Somewhere there was an open-air nightclub, surrounded with thick jungle, called Leopard Valley.
That's where I finally decided it's time to follow my dream & be brave…Very short after I started my own business, & here I am =)

5) I find inspiration in places I traveled around the globe, different cultures & people I meet along the way. I love colors, textile, and textures, vintage, markets & flea markets.
The fabulous beach of Tel Aviv, right next to my apartment, is my favorite place. I go there whenever I can (all the time!), for inspiration, fresh air & charging myself with some solar energy...

6) Leopard Valley's creations are a modern take on keeping the designs and shapes simple, fresh, interesting and fun at the same time. There is also always a little twist of vintage and tribal feel added to them.

7) As a vegetarian ideologically I set myself a goal not to use any animal products such as leather, feathers & such.
Being environmentally friendly is very important to me, & I make every effort to use sustainable, organic, recycled and natural products whenever possible.

8) I'm really not a computer type of person; I would never believe that I would run my online shop!

9) Everything you see in my shop is handmade by me, and each piece is original.
I make every effort to create special things you won't find anywhere else, and I love to make one-of-a-kind items.

10) I feel incredibly lucky to be able to work from home doing what I love, & love the thought of my products travelling to different homes around the world and starting their new life there.
I try not to put labels on what I am or what I do, as it's an ever-evolving occupation. I do know that I will always be creating, and I'm happy sharing my work here on Etsy!
