My mom and I are sharing a new adventure.
Crecí yendo a exposiciones de artesanía y mercados de pulgas donde mis abuelos se instalaban para vender sus artículos hechos a mano y antigüedades. A mis veinte años no tenía ningún interés en estas cosas. Mi mamá y mi tía siempre decoraban sus casas con artículos vintage que algunos pueden llamar country, vintage o shabby. Siempre aprecié la decoración más sencilla y moderna. A medida que entraba en la treintena, disfruté yendo a subastas y exposiciones de artesanía y noté que mi estilo estaba cambiando. Con el aliento de mi madre, ahora estoy entrando en una nueva aventura en la vida.
Mi tienda lleva el nombre de mi hija de nueve años. A la edad de 2 años, con frecuencia quería usar calcetines y ropa que no coincidían y aprendió a decir "Libby's Style", esto fue antes de que se quedaran vendiendo paquetes de calcetines desiguales en las tiendas. Con los eclécticos artículos de artesanía vintage y hechos a mano en mi tienda, las palabras "Libby's Style" vienen a mi mente.

I grew up going to craft shows and flea markets where my grandparents would set up to sell their handmade items and antiques. In my twenties I had no interest in these things. My mom and aunt always decorated their homes with vintage items some may call it country, vintage or shabby. I always appreciated the more simple and modern décor. As I got into my thirties I enjoyed going to auctions and craft shows and noticed my style was changing. With my mom’s encouragement, I am now entering into a new adventure in life.
My shop is named after my nine year old daughter. At the age of 2 she would frequently want to wear miss matched socks and clothes and she learned to say “Libby’s Style” this was before they stared selling packages of mismatched socks at the stores. With the eclectic vintage and handmade crafts items in my store the words “Libby’s Style” come to my mind.
