Alpaca and English angora yarn grown on a small fiber farm in Iowa

It all started with a love for nurturing animals and the fact that I was about to have an empty nest. I got my first 4 alpacas and was instantly in love. Very soon after when I was learning more about yarn and fiber, I learned a lot about the amazing soft and warm qualities of angora. I have always had pet rabbits so it seemed like the perfect fit. The english angora bunnies are just the sweetest thing in the world and in the bunny barn is where you are most likely to find me. The bunnies get lots of visitors, love and play time. They truly are pets that I happen to shear for wool.
Since getting the animals I have become a lover of all things yarn, I spin, knit, weave and dye yarn.
