Welcome to Light Fem Up — a feminist, human-rights-driven art shop creating supportive wall art, apparel, and meaningful gifts for tough times.
I’m Kate, the artist behind Light Fem Up. I’m a refugee from Ukraine and a former crisis psychologist. I lived through war, worked on the front line with the military, and supported women who survived violence. Later, I left psychology and traveled the world, living across countries as an immigrant and guest learning firsthand what it means to belong, to be welcomed, and to be resilient.
These experiences shape every piece I create.
My art focuses on:

I deeply admire women around the world, especially refugee mothers fighting for their children’s futures. I believe cultural diversity and global unity are natural, powerful, and necessary. When dark times threaten freedom and dignity, art becomes a tool of resistance, healing, and hope.

From a technical side, I combine AI-assisted design tools with intentional artistic editing, and I partner with trusted print providers in the US and Europe to handle printing and shipping.
