Animal Crazy
I've always loved animals and have had a great many in my life. Of course I've had dogs and cats, but I've also loved exotics so I've had a wide array of pets: an iguana named Sepultura, a chinchilla named Rocky (he lived for 15 years!), a rat name Daisy (she was the sweetest) a ferret named Cupcake, and bunnies. Oh! and a brown field mouse that got his tail cut off in a mousetrap. I named him Bob. I also raised guinea pigs and hamsters when I was a teenager.
So how did Lil Monkeys come about? One day I decided to make my bunnies a hay bag because I didn't like any of the manufactured hay holders. Just for grins and giggles I decided to list it and wa-la! my shop just took off after that!
So I added more personalized items like the crate/ID tags. I LOVE making all of my items because my customers get to choose their designs, colors, etc. and I try to match colors to their pet. It's something they can't find on Amazon and it makes them so happy which makes me happy!
