Clay is heat sensitive and I can not be responsible if the clay is damaged due to extended shipping times. Insurance only covers items not being delivered NOT heat sensitive shipments.
So it must be your decision if you feel comfortable with a potential loss.

When life on Etsy found me

It's a silly story about how my Etsy shop came to be.

I had been making and selling my polymer clay functional art for several years when I was asked to teach a class. As it turns out I'm a pretty decent teacher my students were spread out around Southern California and they wanted access to some to the tools I either made like my large acrylic rollers and pasta pal or the hard to find tissue blades I love so much for slicing canes. "By the way, I am a cane-aholic" and love making polymer clay canes.

Anyway, they asked if I could put some up for sale on my Etsy site that I sold my art on and I agreed. However, before they could get online to buy them they were sold out. Turns out at that time they were harder to get than I realized. And so in time, my shop morphed into what it is today. Nearly 900 items, and still growing with polymer friendly, mixed media tools and supplies.

Although not everyone who shops with me does polymer clay were all artists and crafters looking for that special hard to find item to start or complete that special project.

Hi Welcome to Linda's Art Spot

I love making functional items and am drawn to color and patterns and find that polymer clay allows me to experiment with those in so many ways.

After becoming disabled in 2010 I found myself ready to take on a new life. I had always dreamed of being an artist and well here I am trying this new endeavor and loving it.

I started selling my art and then a few of the harder to find supplies that I love to use with the hope to make it easier for other pc artists to find.
Over time and with great joy and pride my shop has grown and morphed into what it is today.
I hope you like what you find and share me with your friends.

Returns & Refunds:

Refunds & Returns accepted ONLY if the item is not as advertised.

Request for Refund or Returns MUST be made within 3 days of receipt. NO exceptions. The item must be returned in the condition in which it was received, within 7 days.

CLAY is temperature-sensitive both in travel and in where and how your store it and NOT returnable.
It is your responsibility to be sure it has arrived in good condition. And alert me of any concerns.
Since clay can be affected by temperatures in shipping I must be notified immediately of any concern.

Returns and Refunds on item(s) that are received too late for your use are not accepted. If the said order was shipped in the agreed timing. I have no control over the actual shipping time, once the shipment has been accepted by the carrier.

Refunds are good for purchase price only.
Shipping & handling charges are the responsibility of the buyer and returns should be insured. If a buyer fails to notify seller within 3 days of item defect, damage, or discrepancy all refunds and returns are automatically void.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES:

Due to the escalation of porch pirates/thefts we are not responsible when the carrier says your items was delivered, we take them at their word. I can not stress enough the importance of having a viable and safe shipping address.

If you are concerned about theft It is your responsibility to provide us with a shipping address where packages can be securely delivered by USPS or by your country's postal service without risk of theft or loss.

I assume no responsibility for packages that are lost or stolen after the tracking says they are delivered.

LOST or Damaged items:

If an item is damaged in transit.
Please take a photo of the items and the packaging and contact me right away please include a photo. Please keep the box and packing materials.

If a claim needs to be made you must agree to complete the paperwork in the specified time or you will forfeit your claim.

There are NO RETURNS/REFUNDS on any custom orders. No exception.

PayPal is a third party credit card processor that keeps all of your transaction information secure. You do *not* need your own PayPal account to use the service.
Shipping
SHIPPING Policies and Information

I will ship within 2-5 business days (unless otherwise noted on the listing) of receiving cleared payment, to the address on file with Etsy and/or PayPal. You assume all responsibility to verifying that the ship to address is correct.

You will be given expected ship times for special and custom orders.

NOTE about returned packages.

I do what I can to verify I am shipping to a correct address. However, if a package is returned to me for an incorrect address, missing information, or undeliverable, not of my error. I will contact you to figure out how to proceed. You will have the option to have me reship to a corrected address at your expense or I will gladly refund you for the item(s) purchased less shipping fees.

WHEN YOUR ORDER SHIPS:

You will receive an email notification including the tracking number, link to USPS or Fed Ex tracking, date shipped, and address where the purchase has shipped. I suggest that you take note of the date your package should arrive and be diligent in securing your package once it arrives.

DAMAGED ITEMS - READ CAREFULLY:

If your item arrives damaged, you must contact us within 3 days of the delivered date. You MUST save ALL of the ORIGINAL packings including the box and email us photos. In most cases, we will file a claim on your behalf and you will receive a refund once the claim has been paid by the shipper.

If the post office requires you many need to take the package to the post office to verify claims for damaged items. If you are unwilling or do not do in the required time your claim is void as I can not do this for you.

INSURANCE:
Insurance is not included in the cost of shipping on orders under 40.00 USD. This is what will reimburse you if your package is lost.
If you would like to ensure the cost of your package please choose insurance or contact me for pricing.

SHIPPING/HANDLING charges in listings are estimates and are most accurate with one or two items purchased.

Shipping Cost Errors.

Unfortunately, when ordering multiple items Etsy calculator will often overcharge in shipping. Please know I will always do my best to keep your shipping cost down.

SHIPPING SHORT CHARGED on shipping... On very rare occasions Etsy will error and under charge on shipping. I reserve the right to contact you regarding this. You can then choose to pay the additional shipping cost or we can agree to cancel the order. Again this is very rarely less than .001% of sales I'm not sure why but it has happened, and that why I mention it.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. and Outside the Continental US

AS of 8/26/20, I am temporarily suspending international orders due to the hassle of dealing with shipping issues due to COVID.

COVID19 shipping updates as of 4/16/20 By ordering you are agreeing to these terms.

Orders can now take 4-8 weeks to arrive. Substantially longer and I can not even entertain refunds until 8 weeks have passed. Orders are arriving they just take much longer even though they may not appear to be moving.

I am generally getting stuck trying to get refunds only to then have the packages get delivered, this is causing a nightmare for this reason I have extended the time to match what appears to be the longest shipping times.

The Reason this is happening...
Customs are taking longer to process on both sides due to social distancing and forced lower employee counts.
I have been informed mail is sitting in customs sometimes for weeks due to canceled flights and lack of transportation. The USPS mail has actually contracted and gone back to using ships to move packages extending the delivery times even more.

Thank you for your patients during this very difficult time. I am here to do my best to help you get the supplies you want and need.

Shipping Rates.

Shipping for most international order is charged by weight ranges 1-8 oz, or 9 oz to 2 lbs. 2 - 3 lbs etc.

I will contact you to let you know where your orderlies and if ask you would like to add to your order if it stays within the range you have paid for I will combine orders and ship at no additional charge. My goal is to help you to get the most product for your shipping dollars.

Within the United States, I usually ship via USPS First Class or Priority, with packages generally arriving within 2-10 days. This allows for tracking. Tracking numbers are automatically sent to you no need to request one.

International orders are usually shipped via First Class International Mail, with packages generally Post COVID19 can take 4-8 weeks.
Tracking numbers are provided but generally only shows it arriving at the port of exit. If your country tracks USPS you will get the tracking following to your delivery. Otherwise as stated my tracking will only track to the acceptance port of exit from the USA.

Claims of Lost or undelivered packages.

International order require a waiting period of 56 days
US orders require a waiting period of 27 days.
You must complete the paperwork within the time specified or you will forfeit your claim.

Delivery Confirmation: Included on shipments to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, and Switzerland. This list is subject to change.

Customs forms for international shipments will be marked with the purchase price of the item. Buyers are responsible for any duties, tariffs, or delivery surcharges assessed by their countries. I have no way of knowing if or how much each country will access. However, with that said most of my items are low enough in cost that this has not been an issue.

Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. In the event, you are charged for customs and you choose not to receive or pick up your order you forfeit your rights for any refund if the package is not returned to me. If it is you may request a refund of the product only, not shipping. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Also, please note that if I know your country restricts a particular item, I will be unable to ship it to you. But note I am not familiar with item restrictions of different countries it is your responsibility to verify if you can purchase and receive the items you are ordering. If there is an issue it will be your responsibility.

Signature confirmation may be required if your total order is $150 or more. It may also be required under other circumstances. If a signature will be required, I will let you know at the time of shipment.
