Born from the spells of nature, strong to wear but soft to the skin, cut, sewn and prewashed individually for you in our cozy local atelier... This is how our linen garment feels.
LinenFeels was born from long and thoughtful discussions about clothing between two lovers. Authenticity, comfort and sustainability were the main themes that constantly hovered in the air. Now a husband and wife duo with extensive design and tailoring experience shows their love for fashion and a conscious lifestyle through organic linen clothing with clean silhouettes and unique shades of colors.
Nice to meet you, we say, Paul and Martine. Having learned the craft of sewing from Paul’s parents, we always knew what clothes we wanted to wear. Clothes for us are not just apparel. We believe that it is a (sub)consious way to express yourself, especially your feelings. Therefore, we create clothes that are not restrictive and not overloaded with details. We design clothes that emphasize unique personality and exceptional beauty.
Being a couple with solid goals and big ambitions for years, we have followed an interesting path, trying to understand each other and always stay in harmony. Meditative leisure time in nature and an acquaintance with mindfulness were the key reasons not only for our successful relationships, but also for conscious fashion, or in other words, slow fashion. And, of course, our lovely children… they filled our lives with playfulness and responsibility at the same time.
While sewing clothes for ourselves by hand, over time we have created a bunch of garments for women. The process of creating a garment from design to sewing and dyeing was slow but purposeful. We have felt every stage of the creation of the clothes and put all our warmth and love there. After seeing that our conscious approach to production creates durable, stylish, and natural garments, we made a dream to share our experience and sew not only for ourselves but also for others.
Of course, we needed more capacity to grow LinenFeels up, but we rejected automated work because we believe that hands’ warmth makes garments special. So here we were joined by family members. We've also included local tailors and workers, responsible for shipping and communication, so we can all earn a living honestly doing what we do best.
We chose organic linen for its naturalness, breathability and unique nature. Also, linen is antiallergic and provides maximum comfort. Our chosen prewashed linen was reborn in simple yet modern and stylish silhouettes that provide physical comfort, aesthetic satisfaction and the possibility to create different unique outfits.
