“LinenRain” is a family business which was established a year ago. My name is Austėja. I'm a student of interior design. Linen - is a symbol and legacy of the Lithuanian nation, and it also surrounds our family for several generations. I became interested in linen when I was studying at an art school. During the final year at the art school I needed to do a diploma work that was supposed to reflect the topic "My home". The focal point of my project was a linen napkin emroidered with tulips which was made by my grandmother in her youth. Thinking about home and its coziness, about what reminded me of home if I suddenly would have been forced to leave it, an imperfect linen cloth with tulips appears in front of my eyes. It gives me an indescribable feeling, every stitch is like a stroke, you want to share it with the whole world. So, my mother and I began to weave the story of our store. Over time, my brother and dad came into the team and even our restless dog.

Linen is also inseparable from natural Lithuanian wool. Our dear, grandmother started knitting in her adolescence. The childhoods of my mother's and my brother's and mine was surrounded with the warmth of woolen socks. Over time, knitting has become my grandmother's hobby. And now she is a part of our “LinenRain” team. In our store You can find my grandmother handmade woolen socks that will warm You even in the coldest winter evenings.
