Hi, I’m Carla! I'm a mama of 3 amazing kids, a previous children's clothing small shop owner, and now a pattern designer.

I began this journey as a small shop maker, sewing children's linen heirloom pieces. While I loved that journey and met so many beautiful families along the way, I always wondered if that was where I was meant to stay. As a small shop owner, I desired to make vintage style clothing with a modern twist for customers and my own children. Problem was, there just weren't many PDF patterns in the exact styles I was searching for. As frustration grew, I began designing my own patterns and found I was passionate about it. Eventually, Linen Grey Patterns was born!

Creating patterns is my favorite way of passing along the thrill of accomplishment to every person possible! There’s just something so thrilling about seeing the work of your hands being worn on yourself or on a tiny person ☺️

I design children’s (and now women's!) pdf sewing patterns that are easy to understand, full of beautiful, high-quality photos, and simple instructions. These patterns are just as enjoyable for an advanced sewist as they are for a beginner.
