Linura started with a drawer full of cards I could not bring myself to throw away. I have always loved getting them, and I always felt a little sad when the moment passed and they went into the dark. Then I found seed paper. Read the card, plant the card, and a few weeks later there are wildflowers on the windowsill. That felt like the right ending for something made with love, so I built a small shop around it.
Today Linura is a studio in New Jersey where I design plantable seed paper cards, curate greeting cards and gift wrap from small makers I admire, and pick out little keepsakes like tiny 3D fridge magnets and lace vow books that are too pretty to pass up. Everything here is something I would want to receive myself. My schnauzer is the quality control department.
You can also find us in person at street markets around New York and New Jersey. If you have a question, a custom idea, or just want to tell me how your flowers are doing, send a message. I read everything.
