I just purchased “The Flaming Spirit” because I was attracted to the intense colors and the spiritual depiction of the bride and groom through the Sabbath candles, the joy associated with welcoming the Sabbath as represented by the dancing rabbis at the bottom of the painting, and the Hebrew letters of the aleph bet representing continuity and the circle of life. I absolutely love it! I have hung it in my dining room over my sideboard where I light my Sabbath candles, and have already received compliments. This would make a wonderful addition to your home or a beautiful wedding gift or housewarming present.
