My artistic journey
A native of Northern Michigan I now live Sunny Arizona. Like so many artists. I am connected to and inspired by Mother nature. I live with my fiance Chris, my Kitty Juliet, and my puppy Jazzi.
My artistic path has had many curves and turns from where i started; however I am currently creating in beads :) A few years ago I saw a picture of an amazing mermaid piece created by Sherry Serafini on the back of an art magazine. It was so breathtaking I thought I have to find out who she is, and how she made this. I have been doing bead embroidery ever since. As of this past august I had my first piece of bead embroidery on the back of a magazine, which sorta brought the whole experience full circle for me so that was a really fullfilling.
Going forward on the path I am really looking to reconnect with that fearless portion of myself and exploring the exciting projects I have in mind :) There will be many more beads in my future, that I am confident in :)
