About Me, Little Bit Signs and my process.
My name is Nicole and I am the owner of Little Bit Signs & Designs. I am a wife and a mother to two boys residing in Iowa. I am a volunteer firefighter. I am also the daughter of a retired police chief. You will see a large variety of emergency personnel items because I am passionate about these people and these careers.
I started my business in 2012. Art used to be a huge part of my life. I took every class possible when I was in school but then life got in the way. It had been years since I had drawn anything and even longer since I had painted. Then one day I started drawing and painting on canvas which quickly turned into making wood signs and other home décor.
In 2017 I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. This degree has helped me further my ability to bring you wonderful items. I love designing. This site is a mix of my own designs and designs that I have purchased from other artists to bring you wonderful products.
In my shop, I take great pride in craftsmanship and quality materials. Each item is unique in its own way and will never have an exact duplicate. I do not do anything to disguise the nature of the products being used. Wood items may show various grains, knots, cracks, curves and other natural blemishes. I use quality products for my cut vinyl, printed media, and textiles. As I add new items I test out all materials before posting an item for sale.
I do not mass produce my handcrafted items. My items are made only by me. There is nothing I love more than providing my customers with high quality products at affordable prices. Each one of my products also makes exceptional gifts for any occasion.
