For many people, moving to America is a dream come true. However, it was more like a nightmare for me in the beginning. Every night, staying up, I looked at the ceiling and wondered what it would be if I had not come here. I would probably be working “crazily” (as some of my friends always commented), from 9:00 AM to midnight, going home and playing my PS4. Then, on the weekend, I would go out or maybe, come to work again. I love it, being an IT programmer, when I could transform an idea to an actual working program. Moving to USA, leaving my favorite job behind, I was in total shock. Staying at home, isolating myself from all my friends, I stuck in my own loneliness. Until that very day, when I came across Etsy and found so many hand-made products. I was extremely interested in customized print products as I could for sure use my expertise here. During the day, I was learning about Etsy. At night, I worked on putting my own idea into actual designs. And then, the Little Maple shop was born. Here, I share my creativity with you through my customized products. Here, I hope that my little items will brighten someone’s day, bring the smile back to their day, just as it did for me.
