LittleParade: Selling Art Since I was 12!
Hello! My name's Alexa, but I go by LittleParade online, or LP for short! I was born and raised in South Florida, and have been making art since I was practically a baby! But, I've been doing digital art since I was just about 12, where I started selling my very first commissions!
I take an interest in video games, Japanese street fashion, and anime, and often include these influences in my art. I've been especially inspired by many of Nintendo's own creations, thanks in no small part to the vibrant colors and styles they utilize in their games.
In March of 2020, after spending Spring Break wondering if we'll have to head back to school to finish off the semester, the pandemic caused a nationwide quarantine, and I finally had time to myself to contemplate what I wanted to do with my life. Art was always a fun hobby, but I was always doubtful that my art could amount to anything professionally. During quarantine, I decided to give Etsy a try, and start selling my homemade stickers. I've always really enjoyed selling things I make, I'm not really sure how to explain it, but packing stickers and watching them travel all over the country was super fun! It sparked something in me, a thought, that "hey, maybe I can really do this!"
I dropped out of college to pursue this career full time, and I haven't looked back! Watching my Etsy hit milestone after milestone over the next few years felt amazing, and nothing was more humbling than the astounding amount of support I received through all my social media channels! I enjoy finding new ways to pack joy into every order, and hope to continue growing LittleParadeShop even further!
