I'm a stay-at-home mom with a passion for creating durable, practical baby accessories.
I'm a teacher turned stay-at-home mom who has always loved sewing and creating things. After my daughter discovered she could pull off her bibs because the Velcro had worn out, I decided to make my own with snap closures. I then made some for a friend of mine who has a son a few months younger than my daughter. After she told me that she absolutely loved them, I was inspired to make bibs to sell to others. Once I had made a few bibs, I thought about other things that I love to use with my daughter; blankets and lovies came to mind, as my daughter loves to cuddle with a nice, cozy blanket and loves playing peek-a-boo with a lovie that I made for her.
When I make my items, I love to feature fun prints, and I try to use as many gender neutral prints as possible. As a mom to a daughter, I disliked that much of what I found for her was either bright pink or screamed "GIRL!" so I try to keep this in mind when I pick out fabrics to use for my items. When I select fabrics, I think about what I would buy for my daughter as well as what others might like to see. I always pick cotton fabrics to use as the front and soft, cozy fleeces to use as a backing for the products I make.
When I'm not at my sewing machine, you can either find me chasing my daughter around the house or at my local fabric store trying to resist buying everything I see.
I hope you enjoy the selection in my shop. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!
