Comenzamos con una pasión en 2008 para producir ropa históricamente precisa de alta calidad utilizando técnicas apropiadas de drapeado y costura a mano. Brindamos a nuestros clientes piezas históricas únicas a medida reproducidas a partir de originales. En nuestro viaje, hemos trabajado con algunos museos increíbles, fortalezas y muchos clientes maravillosos en todo el mundo.
Desde entonces, notamos que las comunidades históricas carecían de cosméticos y artículos de boticario adecuados para la época. En 2010 cambiamos nuestro enfoque y nuestro nombre.
En 2010, cuando nuestro enfoque cambió, comenzamos a abordar ideologías y temas en estas recetas históricas que anteriormente habían sido ignoradas, malinterpretadas, mentidas y mal etiquetadas. Los mitos se han convertido en verdad en nuestra sociedad y ahora estamos trabajando para educar y brindarles productos reales del registro histórico que son maravillosamente naturales, orgánicos y fieles a la historia. Creemos que dar a las personas acceso a nuestro pasado de una manera tangible que puedan sentir, oler y saborear es indispensable. Hay muchas maneras de experimentar la historia y por eso estamos orgullosos de hacer productos de belleza natural y de boticario a partir de estas recetas originales para que juntos podamos honrar a nuestros antepasados y traer un poco del pasado al presente.
He estado estudiando plantas, hierbas y recetas históricas desde que era niña. Mis abuelos me educaron sobre ellos y fomentaron una pasión por la historia natural y herbal que alguna vez fue parte de la vida cotidiana de los antepasados. Ahora puedo usar todo lo que he aprendido y puedo proporcionar estas recetas históricas que se prepararon por última vez hace cientos de años. Amado pero no olvidado.

We strive to reproduce actual and exact cosmetic & apothecary recipes written down by our ancestors who only used natural ingredients. We made a promise to our planet and our ancestors that we would honor them using earth-friendly sourced ingredients that are natural and organic! We started with a passion in 2008 to produce high-quality historically accurate clothing using appropriate draping and hand sewing techniques. We provided our clients with unique bespoke historical pieces reproduced from originals. In our journey, we have worked with some amazing museums, forts, and many wonderful clients all over the world.
Since then we noticed historical communities were deficient in proper period-accurate cosmetics and apothecary items. In 2010 we changed our focus and our name.
In 2010, when our focus changed, we started to tackle ideologies and subject matters in these historical recipes which had previously been ignored, misunderstood, lied about, and mislabeled. Myths have become truth in our society and we are now working to educate and bring you real products from the historical record that are wonderfully natural, organic, and true to history. We believe giving people access to our past in a tangible way that they can feel, smell, and taste is indispensable. There are many ways to experience history and so we are proud to make natural beauty and apothecary products from these original recipes so that together we can honor our ancestors and bring a bit of the past to the present.
I have been studying plants, herbs, & historical recipes since I was a child. My Grandparents educated me on them & furthered a passion for natural and herbal history which was once a part of ancestors' everyday lives. Now I am able to use all I have learned and able to provide these historical recipes that were last made hundreds of years ago. Loved but not forgotten.
People think all historical makeup & apothecary products were dangerous, laced with lead and other poisons. We hope to dispel these myths and show other sides of forgotten history.
As the founder, I have always followed my heart and listened to my soul. I love what I do and know I'm giving back, keeping history alive, and making my ancestors proud.
