Livin' the (WildLife) Dream
As an avid camper and nature-lover, I had long had a vision to produce cute, comfortable clothes (I like to call it “active + attractive apparel”) perfect for spending time doing outdoorsy things—from chillin’ by the campfire, to the more adventurous stuff like hiking, rock climbing or riding ATVs. From my own shopping experience, I knew there was plenty of high-end apparel by the big brand name outfitters, but not as much in the way of affordable, low-key items with fun, simple graphic designs that celebrate the experience of being in and interacting with nature.
I started with women’s casual tops, but I soon added a bunch of throw pillows and kitchen towels, to bring some of that nature-inspired goodness indoors. (I love the fact that these items are perfect for RVs, camping trailers and cabins!) Then came a slew of baby onesies—‘cause they’re just plain adorable—and most recently, “by popular demand,” I’ve added some men’s shirts as well.
Another of my passions, I also have apparel designs that celebrate sports in a more general sense—again, there are ample choices for franchise-specific team gear, but not as much in the way of generic “for the love of sport” messaging.
Because many of my designs are simple, with “flat” art, a lot of my work has a “pop art” feel to it, which I have embraced and expanded to include graphics that aren’t quite nature or sport (i.e. my Classics (throw pillow) Collection), but that still speak very much to living an active and colorful lifestyle—to “living wildly”!
I hope my products encourage and inspire people to get outside, engage with nature, play and watch sports, and enjoy life to the fullest!
