A Little About Us
Hi! My name is Ben. I am married to my best friend Amy and we are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl named Lyla and a strikingly handsome boy named Levi. Their adoptions into our family are the best things that have ever happened to Amy and I. I am a part time pastor and seminary student pursuing my Masters degree in Bible Exposition while running this business from our home in Oceanside California.
We are fortunate enough for Amy to be able to stay home and be an amazing mother to our kids while she also pursues her own business with two of her sisters. It's an incredible business called Rooted Ink. Check them out! They are here on Etsy as well!
I have a strong passion for woodworking that was handed down to me from generation to generation. It had always been a hobby for me until Amy began pushing me to begin selling my products. Out of her encouragement Live Grain was born.
Since then Amy and I have learned that we love running this business together. We have also learned a lot about what makes a business great: creating quality products and being willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the satisfaction of its patrons. We pride ourselves on the relationships we have developed with our customers. Whether it be a photographer ordering for all of their weddings or the occasional gift buyer, we give them all equal attention and care.
We love what we do. Being able to express our creativity through designing and building wood products truly makes us happy. We also thoroughly enjoy building and maintaining relationships with our customers, making sure they are satisfied with not only their product, but also with the service they receive.
Each and every item is handmade by us. We put our all into every product and we are dedicated to ensuring the quality of every product that leaves the shop. We are truly grateful for every purchase. We consider it a blessing every time a customer chooses to buy our products.
