Thank you for your feedback. You weren't charged any extra shipping fee but customs duty. All standard and additional shipping fees are covered by me - the shipper, never by the recipient.

5 out of 5 starsItem was delivered very well packed. It’s a beautiful piece and quite heavy (double piece) so I feel a picture hanging bar would be best for mounting it. But they’re not expensive on Amazon. Livia was prompt on any service question I had and went above and beyond as a seller. The local Polish courier did take quite a long time to move the item but once it started moving it was quick and FedEx did the international bit well. It did arrive only a couple of days after the original estimate. There was a customs charge in the UK due to the value of the item. But that’s to be expected as we aren’t in the EU anymore. Overall, highly satisfied with the art work and it will look great on my wall.

Shipping / proof of delivery / inspection upon delivery / problems notification deadline
We ship worldwide via UPS, FedEx, DPD, Raben, DHL and GLS. . Shipping method and price depend on the item ordered and the destination.
For UE destinations we release items to a carrier that will require proof of delivery and signature. Parcels below 20 kg (44 ibs) shipped to Northen America are also released to a carrier that will require proof of delivery.
You should inspect the piece(s) upon delivery. If the product comes to you damaged, you should refuse the item at delivery !!
Please notify us if any piece(s): do not comply with the order or the order is incomplete or it appears to be damaged once it's unpacked. You will be deemed to have accepted the piece(s) unless you notify us in email within 3 days of receipt.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Livia Wood Art warrants the repair or replacement of any furniture which is defective in material or craftsmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. To make a claim your original sales receipt will be required.
The warranty does not cover any natural changes that occurs on the pieces of wood .
We will not repair or replace products treated with chemical detergents or other aggressive cleaning liquids .
The warranty does not refer to differences from piece to piece nor from pictures of furniture shown on the website.
If a refund or a repair is deemed necessary by the seller the buyer must pay for return shipping for a refund. The refund will be issued once the undamaged item(s) is returned in suitable packaging.
WOOD CRACKING
The pieces of wood dry off for a long time. It is a natural process of an organic matter. It effects in checks and cracks which are elements of the design of each piece. The ongoing process of drying off may increase existing cracks on the sides or ends of pieces or generate new ones. These variations are part of the beauty of the wood and have been planned in the design of each piece. The wood can slightly change its color over time, the intensity of this change depends on exposure to sunlight and heat. The warranty does not cover these changes.
