This privacy policy describes how and when Lizzy & Me and Bar 18 Creations collect, use, and share information when you contact us or purchase an item from us through Etsy.com. This policy does not apply to third party services that we do not own or control, including Etsy.

Collect: To fulfil your order, you must provide us certain information during checkout including your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product you are ordering. If you are ordering a personalized item, you may also choose to provide us with additional personal information like wedding or anniversary dates.

Use: We will use the information you have provided us during the ordering process to fulfil your order and provide customer service. We will also use your information, if necessary, to comply with legal obligations such as retaining information about your purchase as required by tax law. We will also use your information as necessary to improve our services and to comply with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Share: Information about our customers is very important to our business, and we take our responsibility to protect your information very seriously. We will share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances:

• Etsy. We share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you services from our shop and comply with our obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

• Service Providers. We share your personal information with service providers (i.e. delivery companies) only to the extent necessary to complete the service. For example, we may share your name, address, package contents, and/or phone number in order to have your item delivered.

• Social Media. We may share a picture of your custom item and/or review on our social media platforms. If you wish to opt out of this, please convo us and we will be more than happy to comply.

Compliance with Laws

We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we believe it is necessary to respond to legal process or government requests, enforce our terms and policies, prevent fraud, security, or technical issues, and protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil your order and as described by our privacy policy. However, we may also be required to retain your information for legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and enforce our terms and policies. Generally we keep your information no longer than 4 years.

• Change, restrict, and delete: You may also have the rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Except for cases where we are required to keep your information for legal reasons, we generally delete your personal information upon request.

• Object: You can object to us using some of your information to improve our services. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless it is needed for legal reasons.

• Complain: If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information, you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
