Our story (in a nutshell)
Hi, I’m Judy Hobbs — owner of Locker 61 and your friendly neighborhood furniture-flipper, paint-splasher, and creative enabler.
Locker 61 is my small but mighty woman-owned vintage shop located in the charming town of Poulsbo, WA. Here, we celebrate the beauty of both the past and the possible. Our collection features a wide range of vintage and reimagined furniture, home décor, and carefully selected DIY refinishing supplies — including Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and a full lineup of transfers, inlays, moulds, and stamps from Iron Orchid Designs. We even carry all-natural topcoats and decorative coatings from Artisan Enhancements to help you finish your pieces with flair.
Our vibe? Think quirky meets classic. I’m not afraid of bold, vibrant colors — and I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, too. That’s why we offer hands-on workshops where you can learn simple, fun techniques to bring your own creative visions to life. And if you’re a tech-lover like me, you’ll appreciate the two 3D printers humming along in the shop, creating everything from furniture embellishments to unique home accessories and party favors.
Most days, you’ll find me in the store — brush in hand — working on a new piece and probably inviting you to try out some products at our studio practice table. Whether you’re here to shop, learn, or just be inspired, Locker 61 is a space where creativity is always welcome and curiosity is encouraged.
