I'm Nilüfer, an antique and vintage jewelry enthusiast and the creator behind Locket & Lore, based in Istanbul. My journey began as a passionate collector while working a full-time job, and over time it naturally grew into a full-time dedication to discovering and creating jewelry with history, character, and meaning.
Many of the antique and vintage pieces in my shop are carefully sourced from trusted sellers across Europe, particularly in Germany and the UK — regions whose craftsmanship and jewelry traditions I deeply admire. Each piece is selected with close attention to quality, authenticity, and the artistry that makes antique jewelry so special.
Alongside curating antique finds, I also design contemporary jewelry inspired by historical aesthetics, sentimental heirlooms, celestial motifs, and the character of natural stones. These designs are developed by me and brought to life in collaboration with skilled goldsmiths in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, where traditional craftsmanship meets a modern, personal perspective. These pieces are listed in the shop under the “L&L Atelier Designs” category.
Bringing antique treasures and newly created pieces together allows the shop to reflect a shared thread: a respect for craftsmanship, symbolism, and the enduring beauty of jewelry across eras.
