Privacy Policy.
New regulations regarding privacy came into effect in May 2018. These regulations are called General Data Protection Regulation: GDPR for short. The following information is to show you how I take care of your information.

‘Locklan Crafts’ is the name of my Etsy shop and my name is Beverley J. Locklan. I take care of your information. Under the rules of GDPR I am called the Data Controller. This simply means that I take care of your details/data.
‘Locklan Craftsl’ will only use your personal information to deal with your account in order to provide you with the products and service you have requested.

The information I collect is given to me, as the seller, directly from you, the buyer.
Personal data collected is done so in order to provide you with the goods/products you have ordered and paid for so that the products can be delivered to you.
When you place an order, Etsy provide me with your name, delivery address and email address.
I am given this information so that I can fulfil your order and send the products to you.

In order to process your order and send it, I need:
• The order itself
• Your name
• Your address/delivery address
• Email address.

Your details will be used to process your order:
• I will endeavour to keep you updated throughout the progress of your order, such as confirmation of receipt of the order and shipping details.
• If privacy policies change, I will email you as required by law.
• I may need to contact you if there is any confusion regarding delivery details etc.
In order to post/ship your order, I need to share your name and delivery address with the courier/post company so that they can deliver your order to you.
This does not apply to digital items. Digital items are sent via Etsy or directly to your email address.

I do not share your personal information in any way at all with other companies, third parties etc.
I do have to keep your account details for a set length of time according to UK law. I keep them for 5 years.
Should a problem arise at any time regarding fraud or theft, your details will be shared with the relevant authorities.

I do not receive your card details. These are held by third party providers: Etsy and PayPal.
