J’ai commencé looptheloop à l’automne 2021. J’avais un grand désencombrement d’artefacts, de matériaux et de possessions accumulés après avoir enseigné l’art pendant de nombreuses années. Je travaillais sur les principes de « nettoyer pour un nouveau plaisir » et de « jeter des choses pour renforcer ce qui reste ». J’ai commencé à imaginer une nouvelle utilisation des choses et à créer quelque chose d’unique et d’intéressant. Le résultat a été une collection éclectique d’artefacts couplée à une plate-forme pour mon propre art. Re-imagine, re-use, re-create.
I started looptheloop in the autumn of 2021. I was having a big de-clutter of accumulated artefacts, materials and possessions having taught Art for many years. I was working on the principles of 'clearing out for a new delight' and 'throwing things away to strengthen what remains'. I began to imagine a new use for things and to create something unique and interesting. The result was an eclectic collection of artefacts coupled with a platform for my own art.
