I am a crochet designer based in the UK, where I work as an artisan to create and sell handmade plush and accessories. My designs are based upon my interests of geekery, and of my own inspiration boards, drawings and patterns, and with every piece I make I strive for impeccable execution that often requires hand-finished techniques.

☆ Every Lottie's Creations item is handmade by me. If your item is ready to ship it will be taken to the post office within 3 *business days* of cleared payment, and if it is handmade to order my current turnaround time to make and prepare orders for shipment is stated on the individual listing (following cleared payment).

Business days and public holidays in the UK are specified below.

The only "we" working behind this shop is me, my crochet hooks and a whole bundle of yarn.

BUSINESS DAYS in my shop are Monday to Saturday only and do not include the following holiday days and public holidays in the UK for 2016:

Jan 1st-3rd, Mar 6th-12th, Mar 25th-28th, May 2nd, May 30th, Aug 29th, Dec 20th-Jan 3rd (2017). Items may be purchased but they are not worked on or shipped during those days so they are not to be counted in the turnaround time for handmade to order items.

The last order date for delivery by Christmas 2016 is - November 11th 2016

***Please note that unless buyers opt for the tracking service I clearly offer (in the item description), I cannot provide information on where an item is located or when it will arrive.***

If there are any problems or issues, please, please, please get in contact with me before leaving negative feedback. Feedback represents me as a seller and often things can be sorted out or at the very least an explanation can be given.

I accept payments via PayPal. Shop prices are in originally £ and are automatically converted to your selected currency by PayPal.

Shipping

I ship worldwide from the UK via Royal Mail postal service. Post office visits are made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (not including holiday dates stated )

Occasionally it can take longer if I have a big surge in the volume of sales.

Delivery times after I've posted:

UK - two to three business days
Addresses in Europe - five to ten business days
Everywhere else - seven to fourteen business days

• Once shipped, most orders arrive within times above. However, some orders shipped overseas may take longer to arrive due to circumstances beyond my control (i.e. customs, holidays, adverse weather conditions, etc.) In the rare cases when that happens, thank you for being patient with delivery.

• Orders sent via Tracked and Signed require signature upon delivery. If your order hasn't arrived within the delivery times above, delivery may have been attempted without notice. Tracking information is provided when I ship which will allow you to pick up the package at your local post office in this case. If your local post office requires it and after the delivery times mentioned above have passed, you can contact me for a scanned image of the shipping slip.


How your order is being shipped:

Within the UK:
• Packages are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class. Tracking can be added at time of ordering. If you later decide you would like this to be added this can be done and an invoice sent through Paypal for the difference in cost.

Outside of the UK:

• Packages are sent via Royal Mail International Standard. Tracking can be added at time of ordering. If you later decide you would like this to be added this can be done and an invoice sent through Paypal for the difference in cost.

• Orders are nicely packaged and I ship to the address indicated on the Etsy invoice. If you'd like your purchase shipped directly to someone as a gift, please mention this in the message to seller at checkout with *one to two short phrases* you'd like written on the note to the lucky recipient. (Invoices are never included in packages, but my business card always is)

Customs duties, tariffs and taxes are not included in the shipping rate or item price. Overseas buyers may be subject to them as determined by their local government and I am not responsible for these additional charges.
*I am legally obligated to provide and always note true information on customs forms, even if buyers ask or tell me to do otherwise.*

Please note that in the event of bad weather, increased security, customs checks and busy times like the run up to Christmas, mail can occasionally take up to 6 weeks (or more) to be delivered. If you haven't received your order after 25 *working days* please contact me so that I can start the claims process and offer you either a refund or a replacement.

Additional policies and FAQs

• Discount codes and coupons may not be used during sales, promotions, on already marked down items or applied on store credit (i.e. returned items). Any discount coupons or codes sent with items that are returned to me (see refunds and exchanges above) may no longer be used.
