Welcome to Love Lettering, I'm Doris and I am a full time hand lettering, calligraphy and engraving artist in Toronto.

My love of lettering began with bubble letters when I was a child and now its grown into a full fledged career and lifestyle that I call The Lettering Lifestyle!
My passion has led me to become a published author of Extraordinary Hand Lettering (2017) A solo gallery art exhibit called Bottled Feelings (2020) and an online instructor, teaching others how to letter and draw beyond paper (2022). My clients include: Hallmark, Sephora, Michaels, HGTV and more! I'm living a dreamy life and this shop is a little bit of tangible me! You will also find a handful of vintage items, little brass collectibles, beautiful desk accessories, and I have an obsession with glassware, something about drinking from the perfect glass or mug...

When you buy something handmade you are purchasing a piece of the artist, an extension of the maker. You just can't go wrong by supporting handmade artisans, fuelled by people who want original works and designs we can continue to make beautiful things for the world.

My most popular items are my Posecards™® my line of photo prop/selfie greeting cards which is what happened when an hand lettering artist/illustrator could NOT stand cheesy/tacky props for her sisters wedding. I drew and lettered each prop for that first occasion and have been drawing them ever since! You will not find this style of photo prop anywhere else and if you do, please contact me as these are copyrighted!

I am a mom of an 12 year old daughter and it's true that my perspective of life has changed completely. Living and working as an artist now, my daughter will not only see my work, she can see exactly who I am in it.

Due to cross border Canada/US tariffs we are currently NOT SHIPPING to the United States.

We love our US customers and we are very saddened by the halt of providing our products to your celebrations, however we are experiencing a high volume of returns, unexpected fees and tariff duties that make selling very difficult for us as artists/small businesses, and for you our loyal customers.

I hope that things will get more organized and streamlined in the future so we can reconsider opening shop to our US friends.

We ship our packages twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. If your items are not custom then we will ship within 1-3 days, I like getting happy mail out the door, TRUST ME! However, once we ship, your package is at the mercy of the various postal systems and is out of our hands. We thank you for your patience and understanding in advance.
