I have been a creative soul ever since I was a child. I remember wanting to be a photographer or artist as a really little girl. Now at 52, I am both of those things! I started my art journey when I found digital scrapbooking. I was already working as a self employed photographer at the time, so I had a ton of photographs to scrap! I didn't have a job outside of my hobby, so I couldn't afford to buy all the scrapbooking things! Then I discovered digital scrapbooking and how cost effective it was. It wasn't long before I was creating my own papers and elements to use in my work. I worked as a scrapbook artist for a few different scrapbook designers, and eventually was offered a position to sell my creations in four different shops! I gathered my own creative team and got to work. Unfortunately at that time there was as huge explosion of new artists bursting onto that scene and when the shops I worked at started closing up their shops, I had no outlet to share my digital creations anymore. Then I had to get a real job. Ugh.

Longing for a creative outlet, I discovered the world of Bible Art journaling. It was falling in love with this craft that made me want to get better at drawing and painting so my pages would be beautiful. I bought some watercolor paints and I've never looked back. I am constantly learning new techniques, new mediums and I have a crazy urge to get my art into the hands of other people! It's not just about making the art for me, I really want to share the love of God with as many people as I can through my digital and physical pieces of art. I love BIble art journaling, art journaling for my soul, painting canvases, creating greeting cards, creating digital elements from my paintings to coordinate with Bible devotional journals I am currently writing. I love my Cricut, my paints, my glue sticks and using my hands to be creative!

I believe we are all the handiwork of a loving Creator, who wants to pour out HIs love on His children, His favorite masterpieces!
