Because of my love for nature and animals I learned to build bird houses, squirrel feeders & dog houses...so my love of woodworking was born. When my husband got sick and could no longer work, I learned to weld to finish a deer stand that he had begun...so my love of welding was born. Then several years ago I found an online shop where I could sell my metal art and wood crafts, and I knew I had found the perfect outlet for my 'hobbies'...so LowerArkCrafts was born.

I took a small corner of our shop to set up my woodworking 'business', but I gradually began to take a little more here & there until finally it became MY shop and MY tools. Now it's my "Happy Place", and my sanctuary.

You won't find anything fancy in my shop. Each piece I make is done by hand, and while nothing is ever perfect, I will do the best I can to make every piece just the way you want it.

I hope you like my crafts as much as I enjoy making them and will come back often to visit. I'll have the sweet tea ready!

While I'm busy working on crafts, this guy is out rounding up used pallets or torn down barns and fences. He also keeps my power tools in working order and does all the packing & shipping. I absolutely could not get everything done without him.

My precious grandson Noah lives in Missouri but loves to visit his Mimi & Papaw in south AR. When I'm working in the shop, he's right there beside me...busy creating things from scrap wood.

Cody is our 3rd generation German Shepherd. We had his dad & his grand dad. He loves chasing tennis balls, & usually has one in his mouth, just in case someone wants to throw it for him.

This little stray showed up at our house several years ago and never left. He thinks his job is to keep the pecan trees safe from squirrels.
