I'm from a small town called Hämeenlinna, which is in the southern part of Finland and which is present in many of my item listing photos.
I started handicrafting already as a young child inspired by my mother, who used to make everything from our clothes to home decor. So virtually, we children, grew up listening to the Singer -sewing machine's sound in our home and watching beside, how our clothes were made.

I love all handicrafts. I get inspired by different materials and enjoy doing and creating new.
Handmade items have a special feeling and a story to tell, that's what makes them so fascinating and beautiful to me. Some of my creations get more contents and 'soul' from the eco-friendly materials; remodelling, reuse, cut leftovers, that I've used in making them. For me nature is also a great source of inspiration and healer, I spend a lot of time outside wondering in nearby woods and at the summertime in my little garden plot.

A collection of handmade items with a touch of vintage and a flare for whimsy - Imagine a cold snowy night, you're sitting in your favorite chair by the fire, wearing warm homeknitted socks, holding a nice cup of hot chocolate in your hands, feeling completely relaxed and warm..This is the feeling I want to pass to you thru my knits, you're worth it, and your feet are certainly worthy of good treatment!
In my shop 'LuckyPawsCrafts' you find things handmade; eg. handknitted, warm, cozy and durable socks and mittens for the whole family, unique interior design pillow covers, cell phone accessories and things for kids and Christmassy items. I pay a lot attention to wear confort and usefulness, not forgetting the beauty of an item. My socks are seamless and have reinforced heels to add durability. I knit in the old traditional way using five sticks and doing one loop at the time.
Good quality materials and quality of work is my measure, I only sell items, that I'm pleased with and proud to give away. I provide international shipping and PayPal as a payment method (you don't need a PayPal account to pay with PayPal, any major credit card will do).

I like to work with
wool, cotton, linen, leather, all recycled and vintage materials, tricot fabfics cutting surplus of a Finnish textile factory, wood.
