For years now I have been sewing and dreaming – dreaming and sewing.

I bought a sewing machine. Cutting and folding and stitching all day long. I was so happy, but not ecstatic. That’s when I heard about embroidery machines. Oooh! Ahhh! Ohhh! Oh, yeah, that is ecstacy. I love the feel of fabrics, the glisten of thread, the purr of Martha the Magnificent – my incredibly intelligent embroidery machine.

I love making all kinds of home décor, especially pillows. Ahhh, the pillows! My RudyDog always slept with me. When he passed I found a Boston Terrier embroidery design and just had to have it. I stitched it on a pillow just so I could hug him tight on the darkest nights. That is when the Pet Memorial Pillows came to fruition.

After working different jobs that were always in customer service. I now have my own three shops on Etsy: www.oleandermoon.etsy.com & www.lucymoonshops.etsy.com, and my goal is for you, possibly a non-sewist, to have and to give precious keepsakes that are just as fun and unique as you.

I make each piece from start to finish - from purchasing of the materials/supplies, designing and sewing, to taking the photos, to posting the listings, to communicating with my fabulous customers, and then, all the packaging and shipping.

I am constantly working on new ideas, and would love to hear YOUR ideas. Custom orders are absolutely welcome.

Everything is made in my clean, smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
