I started doing this business in 2013. Back then, I mostly made doll clothes to sell but in 2017 I started creating patterns instead. Ever since, I've been designing non-stop as a full time job. I am very grateful for this enterprise that allows me to stay home with my little girls.
My skills come 100% "by ear". My degree is in English Literature and not in clothing design, so I do not have too many relevant credentials to show. What you see is what you get!
I am originally from Argentina. In my country most people are very resourceful. They can really go far by starting from scratch, without any previous knowledge. My brother and me have a saying. It goes like this: "The best way to learn is when you are not taught." This is one of the philosophies that I apply in my shop. The advantage of this view is that, since you are not learning from any other source than your own personal experimentation with knowledge, you are more likely to get truly unique, original and creative results, both in appearance and in method of execution.
