About me
I began my art journey when I could first pick up a pencil at 3 years old. The passion for creating artwork that people can relate to and enjoy has continued on over the years.
Throughout my school years I would draw during class, and look forward to drawing when I got home from school as well.
I am both self taught and formally educated, my mom took me to art classes every summer throughout middle school and high school when I was growing up.
During my summer art classes I learned a lot of new techniques and met really cool people!
I got my first commission when I was 18, to paint a pet portrait for my principal in my last year of high school.
I didn't plan to make money from my artwork at the time, but after my first commission I realized this could turn into a career if I work hard enough.
I took a huge step and moved to a different state when I was 18, which has helped me connect with different people, and helped my art career journey as well.
