Howdy friends!

I have this knack for reclusing when I get overwhelmed, so I'm thrilled to freshen up the shop and provide you all with an update.

For those of you that express interest in commissioning custom or exclusive clipart illustrations, I've developed the perfect service! In February, I launched a subscription service that allows me to release exclusive illustration packages to subscribers once a month. I'm calling it "Lydia's Designer Collective" (pretty cute, IMO;)). There's so much more fun I could share, but the fastest way to learn more is by visiting my website: https://www.lydmothersyoung.com/plans-pricing

You'll also notice I'm not currently offering custom portraits and branding. I know this is suchhhh a bummer. As of right now, I'm just booked to the brim on custom pieces and needed to deactivate those options for the foreseeable future while I get my small business crazy self under control ;).

To my vendors, I am overjoyed and beyond blessed by your patronage. To my customers, thank you for allowing me to illustrate the special moments in your lives.

XO lyd

Be sure to follow my process by checking out my insta (@lydmothersyoung & @Lydiasdesignercollective)! This is my joy and ministry -- connecting with precious people like YOU!

Thank you for being a part of making my dreams come true! I love my customers and I am so thankful!

Quarantine 2020 brought out a new hobby and passion for watercolor in me and I’m excited to share it with you!

My name is Lydia, but those I love most refer to me as Lyd, so I tend to call myself by that nickname. I married my cutie husband, Zach, in 2016. We’re nine years apart which is a great conversation starter. Ha! He works as an environmental engineer. I had my first baby young. Just two years into marriage. His name is Hosea and oh my gosh he has wrecked us forever. We recently had another baby, a girl this time. Her name is Hadley and she is pure J O Y. Like a marshmallow of smiles and snuggles. We can’t get enough of her!

I started custom portraits in December of 2018. Because this was just to be a hobby, I would gift them to friends and family. Eventually, as popularity of my products grew, I decided to use quarantine of 2020 as an opportunity to try my hand at selling my art. It’s been a joy to share this passion with the world!

Thank you for checking out my shop. I hope to create a custom painting for you.

Lyd.
