In pursuit of perfection and joy of creating
It all started with fixing my juggling bowler and since it's been a roller-coaster journey.
I studied in Kensington And Chelsea College and gained a HNC in Millinery.
After my education I did internships in established millinery houses – Stephen Jones Millinery,Noel Steawart Millinery, Edwina Ibbotson and Philip Treacy London.
The following year I was working full time in Philip Treacy Studio London.
In April 2011 I launched my own company Lydia Wall Millinery which was operating from my studio in Crouch End, London.
In 2012 started exploring new technologies - laser cutting and fell in love with it.
I have been designing and making leather jewellery and accessories ever since using this technique.
So far have launched 2 collections of laser cut leather jewellery and accessories :
-"Victoriana" inspired by Victorian railings around London and traditional Victorian patterns.
-"Muses" inspired by Art nouveau and paying tribute to the women who inspired the movement.
All the pieces are designed and made in my London studio with lots of devotion and love.
