Our Estimate Excel templates are designed for immediate use, no unlocking required. To avoid unintentional changes from users that could make certain functionalities not work properly, certain sections are password-protected. Should you wish to unlock all sections, just write to us, and we'll promptly provide the password, and you can then easily unlock the template.

For our Google Sheets templates, no passwords are involved. While certain areas are safeguarded against accidental changes, you can easily remove this protection by adjusting the "Protect sheets and ranges" setting in the Data menu. Certainly! We welcome requests for customizations.

However, since customizations might require a lot of our time, we do charge for it, according to the complexity of the work. For example, if we need to change something in VBA coding, we charge $50 per hour. If the changes don't require any VBA coding, the price is $20 per hour. You can send us what you want to change, and we can send you our estimate on how long it would take us and how much it would cost.

Enabling macros is necessary for certain features in our Estimate Excel files to work as intended. Please note that this process is specific to Excel files and is not applicable to Google Sheet Estimate files, as they operate differently and do not require macro activation.

To enable macros for our Estimate Excel files, follow these steps:

1. Open the Excel file containing the template.
2. Look for a security warning at the top of the Excel window.
3. Click on "Enable Content" or "Enable Macros," depending on the version of Excel you are using.
4. If prompted, choose "Enable All Content" to ensure full functionality.
