You can't go wrong with Lisa! She has designed and provided 2 Etsy banner sets, a Facebook banner, hang tags and business cards for me. They all turned out to be just what I wanted, and the customer service was great.
I'm a web designer, mom, wife, and whatever else needs done that day!
I think I was always meant to be in design and marketing. As a kid, I made greeting cards for people, always conscious of the person I was making it for (my “market.”) I kept every crayon in my crayon box sharpened and fastidiously cared for my Marvy marker set that I bought with my own money. I was constantly making stuff, and I pestered my grandmother until she taught me every kind of sewing and needlework she knew. Quilting was my favorite. I loved putting the colors together in interesting ways, making my own patterns, and I loved that a quilt was flat, like a blank slate, a canvas.
When it came time for me to go to college, my dad (a very smart man) told me he thought I should go into marketing. I did go see the Chair in the Marketing Department at school, but it didn't sound interesting to me (guess the Chair needed to work on his marketing!) It is funny to me that my dad could see my aptitude for marketing, but I couldn’t. Well of course, I went my own way, then. . .
Some years later, but before the Internet, while I was sitting in my cubicle, working for a huge corporation, I realized I missed being creative and making things. I dreamed of a job that I could do, from home, the beach, perched on top of a mountain, anywhere but in that silly cubicle. I wanted to work with color, be creative, make stuff. I didn’t know how I would accomplish that, but I didn’t stop dreaming about it. Just a few years later, after my first daughter was born, a successful businessman I knew asked me if I could build his business a web site. It was early enough in Internet that I said, “what’s a web site?” But, with the help of my dad, (he had a web site, marketer-extraordinaire that he is!) and my husband, I learned the software and created a web site for that gentleman’s business. “Hmm, I thought, that was kind of fun. I got to play with color. That web site is a flat surface, and I put things together on it as I liked. Just like quilting! And I did it from home.” Bingo! Web Design was what I had been dreaming about all along. I just had to wait for someone to invent my dream career.
Now, 16 years later, I’m still designing, at home, with my three kids all around me, and the only thing I dream about is the next design for my customers. Working from home suits me. I’m pretty organized and like to schedule my own time. I am proud that I can marry my love of color, my drive to create, my interest in marketing, and my desire to work from home into a career that I’m excited to get up every morning and do. I know I’ve been given a gift, and I work hard to make sure I don’t let my gift go to waste. What I enjoy the most, though, is working with my customers and bringing the seeds of their ideas into fruition. My customers inspire me, and it’s really hard for me to run out of ideas.
My philosophy of design and marketing is pretty simple. A business with great products should put its best foot forward in its marketing. Everything that customers see, from their logo to their packaging should reflect the best of what the business has to offer. Your graphics that represent your business should be an extension of what you create, as much a part of you as the things that you make to sell. Many customers tell me that they love their graphics. When they say that, I know I’ve hit the mark. Great graphics let you put your best foot forward. They work. They say “you,” and you love them. All of that gives you the confidence to sell your products. It really does.
You’ll find that when you message me about a design idea or question about one of my designs, I’ll respond promptly. That’s because I am just as excited about your new business and your idea for your graphics as you are! Starting a new design, or helping a new shop owner find a look she or he loves is like starting a new quilt. It's that blank slate, that canvas. That's exciting, and it's what makes me do what I do every day.

Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
I accept payments through the Etsy checkout system and via PayPal. I will always contact you after payment so that we can discuss details of your purchase if we need to. If you've purchased a downloadable product from me, you will receive your files through Etsy's download service.
My Policy on Payment of Custom Orders
When we work on a custom order for your shop, the first thing we'll do is talk about your ideas and get the details down so that you'll know pretty much what I'll be designing for you. The next step is for me to create a custom listing for you that outlines what we've discussed and the price we've agreed upon. After you pay for your custom order, I will put your project on my schedule. Some folks ask me to make up a design for them before they pay for it. However, if I do that, I take time away from designing for my customers who have paid! So, the way I work is that we talk first and decide, we take care of the money, and then we start work on your project. I will make a proof of your design first, and include everything we discussed. Then, we can tweak it a time or two to get it just right. After we have a final design, I'll make all of the matching items that you ordered.
Everything in my shop is a digital item, so the only happy mail you'll be getting from me is the digital kind!
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the nature of the digital media and service I provide, I'm unable to offer refunds. However, I will do everything in my power to make our time working together a positive experience.
Additional policies and FAQs
I can appreciate that some will want a custom look just for their shop, and I am glad to work on custom orders. If you're interested in having me make something for you custom, please send me a convo with your ideas. Typically, I spend time before your purchase discussing ideas in detail, so that when you purchase a custom design from me you'll pretty much know what you'll be getting before you buy. I will say a custom design takes a good deal more time for me to create that it does for me to personalize a banner already in my shop. So, as with all art, a custom design can be a bit pricy. However, the design is yours to use as you choose, and I will never put that design in my shop or sell it to anyone else. Additionaly, once we have created your custom design, I can make any matching items that you'd like for the price that they are in my shop. As with all of my work, I will do my best to make our time spent designing very positive and fun.
