Ever since I was little, I have loved arts and crafts. In eighth grade, I began to watercolor and develop hand-lettering skills. I loved it so much, I started an Etsy business, MLWrighting. I wanted to spread joy with colorfully-designed everyday stationery. I enjoyed doing pop-up markets and selling in local boutiques. I continued my business throughout high school.
I just graduated from Texas A&M, where I fell in love with a different type of art - graphic design. I worked for two small businesses throughout college and have over four years of graphic design experience.
This past year, I got married (!!!), hence the rebranding. It was a JOY to design and personalize my wedding. From the watercolored crest I put everywhere, to a giant hand-painted "Best Day Ever!" banner, I found a love for creating meaningful pieces for the most special day!
These experiences brought me to where I am today! I now live in Houston with my husband Brandon and work full-time as a Management Consultant. I still want a creative outlet - so I rebranded MLWrighting to "ByMadisonEllisor". Whether you want a painted journal for your new Bible study or a vinyl seating chart for your wedding, I hope to be your girl!
Don't worry - I still had to keep some of my MLWrighting roots and will continue selling watercolor stationery on Etsy!
