I have been fascinated with electronics for as long as I can remember. I can recall taking apart a transistor radio as a kid, just to see what was going on inside. As a teen, I picked up the guitar, and almost immediately got a Big Muff. I was hooked! Later I went to school for audio engineering and learned all about Ohm’s Law and resistors and whatnot. But for years my career path was more about operating the gear, rather than building it.

But then, one day, I built a fuzz pedal and put it in a green chile can. Seemed like the right thing to do...upcycling a can, keeping it out of a landfill. Plus I had already eaten the chiles in an omelette. Of course, all sorts of things come in cans. Why not put different flavors of fuzz in a variety of cans? I also put various fuzz and overdrive circuits into standard enclosures, and I build custom guitars.
