I started making purses for others in 1978. At that time craft stores had all the colors and supplies available.
My husband and I found two 28” wrought iron rings in our basement that were purchased in 1979 to make a hanging macrame chair. I had a hard time finding cord and other materials, but I did manage to make the chair.
I put a few purses together and my friends encouraged me to make more to sell. A local blacksmith told me that he could fashion more iron rings for chairs if I needed them.

Etsy has helped me share my purse ideas as well as supplies.
I have hand made purses, clutch bag, flex frame opening purses, totes, shoulder length and many other styles. Purses are fully lined and with pockets unless specified otherwise.
